Happy Halloween (Sort of)

So I'm not so sure about this Halloween holiday. I think I'll really like the candy when I'm a little bigger and I like seeing the other children dress up. We had friends drop in to visit, and that was fun. But I don't like wearing costumes! I know I look really cute, but I DON'T LIKE COSTUMES!

I don't want to be a little lamb.

I'm going to my room.

And get this off my head!

Wait! Did she say cookies?

Why didn't we negotiate this from the start. I'll wear my costume in exchange for a few cookies.

Want a bite?

I think Sam Cat thought I was a real lamb. Hee hee.

FALL IS HERE

A visit to the pumpkin farm.

I love hanging out with my Daddy.

Mommy and I try to choose a pumpkin.

I want this one Mommy.

I'm two and a half feet tall!

I'm tired. Can we go home now?

Ears...

Nose...

Hey! Get out of here!

What a super fun month this has been.

Just when I thought things couldn't be any better, Aunt Heather came to visit me and then Aunt Rebekah came. They brought me presents and we played and played. I just love the ladies!

I shared my fruit puffs with Aunt Heather.

We played in the water.

And I taught her how to play ball.

Aunt Rebekah came next.

Mommy and Daddy gave me a Winnie the Pooh Fire Engine.

My very own Elmo...

Nana sent me an Elmo that talks and says my name, my birthday, names of friends and he plays games. I like him alot!

My present from Aunt Heather.

It was a great first birthday.

A recap of last week...

Last week was really busy. We had a friend come and visit and we had to get ready for my party. There was much excitement leading up to the big day. The doorbell would ring and packages would arrive. Mommy made a very special cake and cupcakes too. As always, I helped as much as possible.

Lots of boxes of gifts arrived. I had to examine every one.

Sometimes boxes are as much fun as the actual toys are.

Mr. Eric was here!

Mr. Eric was in the Seattle area, so he came to visit me. We cooked dinner for him one night and then we all went out for Mexican food one night. We were very happy that he came for a visit.
