We hope you had a very happy holiday.

We had a nice Thanksgiving in Washington. We started our day by watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade (Mommy says its a tradition) and then we met my friend Eli and his parents for a holiday feast at the Salish Lodge (www.salishlodge.com) and it was lovely. I ate turkey, candied yams, mashed potatos and stuffing. Yum! Yum! Afterwards I went to Eli's house to play. At the end of the day, I was full, tired and very thankful.

We ate and drank alot.

It was a good time.

Me and my mommy.

Me and my daddy.

This is my friend Eli and his daddy.

We spent the rest of the holiday weekend decorating for Christmas.

Uh oh! I think I've been busted.

How am I going to explain this?

I was just organizing your coupon book Mommy.

Here Mommy! We can use this one! (I'm very helpful.)

The holidays are here and there's lots to do!

Turkey to eat, presents to buy, cookies to bake and gifts to wrap. Sounds like lots of fun!

There's lots to celebrate.

We will give thanks for all our blessings, we will remember Jesus' birth and we will wait for Santa. (I don't know who this Santa is yet, but he sounds like a swell guy.)

I hope everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm still growing.

I can climb up all the steps in my house and I can climb down them to. Today I took my very first steps for Daddy. Mommy says I'll be running around soon!

I have something in common with my cousin Isaiah.

I love cars! I just discovered how much fun they can be.

I make them go vroom, vroom and drive them all around.

A Note from Mommy...

Dear Family and Friends,

Looking at this picture brings so much joy to my heart. This is a group of little boys that go to church with us and they were all visiting with their mommies as part of a mom's group/play group that we started several months ago. Our little guy is the one showing off in the middle (as if you wouldn't recognize him). This lends an opportunity for me to share our blessings with you.

A year ago God gave us this little miracle and that was the very beginning of a new journey for our family. Just as we began to adjust to the idea of being parents, the Lord presented us with yet another life change in the form of Michael's job offer from Microsoft. We knew then that God was leading us to Washington, although it was a difficult path to leave our friends and move even further away from our families, but His plans aren't always exactly what we expect. This photo is such proof to me that while we hope this is not our permanent home, this is where we are meant to be right now. Our community has opened its arms to us and we have embraced them in return. We are truly blessed to have so quickly found friends, found a place to worship and to have found other families to love.

Happy Halloween (Sort of)

So I'm not so sure about this Halloween holiday. I think I'll really like the candy when I'm a little bigger and I like seeing the other children dress up. We had friends drop in to visit, and that was fun. But I don't like wearing costumes! I know I look really cute, but I DON'T LIKE COSTUMES!

I don't want to be a little lamb.

I'm going to my room.

And get this off my head!

Wait! Did she say cookies?

Why didn't we negotiate this from the start. I'll wear my costume in exchange for a few cookies.

Want a bite?

I think Sam Cat thought I was a real lamb. Hee hee.

FALL IS HERE

A visit to the pumpkin farm.

I love hanging out with my Daddy.

Mommy and I try to choose a pumpkin.

I want this one Mommy.

I'm two and a half feet tall!

I'm tired. Can we go home now?

Ears...

Nose...

Hey! Get out of here!

What a super fun month this has been.

Just when I thought things couldn't be any better, Aunt Heather came to visit me and then Aunt Rebekah came. They brought me presents and we played and played. I just love the ladies!

I shared my fruit puffs with Aunt Heather.

We played in the water.

And I taught her how to play ball.

Aunt Rebekah came next.
